Consumer Trends prove Online Video is Preferred Medium for Advertisers

Her article explains that young people are now spending more time online watching videos versus television. Media companies are allocating much more of their advertising dollars towards online video. Susan recommends keeping your ads targeted toward your specific audience. This is also known as focusing on a ‘niche market.’ She also recommends being creative and going against traditional TV ads that are designed for interruption. Online Video viewers are much more ‘seasoned’ when it comes to advertising interruptions and they prefer a more interactive experience.

Susan also recommends to be integrated in that you need to incorporate all of your marketing angles. Whether you’re using social media, online video advertising, television ads, blogs, etc., you should have all of these mediums working together for you. Prioritize your efforts based on what shows the best ROI.
